One of our most treasured culinary traditions, and definitely for all the chocoholics out there.
Crafted using a centuries-old method unlike conventional chocolate production, Modica chocolate retains a distinctive texture and depth of flavour that reflects its rich history. Each month’s selection allows you to experience one of Sicily’s most beloved specialties from the comfort of home. Best enjoyed while reading your monthly letter. A taste of the island accompanying every story.

A bag of Sicilian herbs, 20g
Wild oregano, rosemary, or thyme, gathered from the same hillsides that appear in your letters. The kind of thing a Sicilian grandmother keeps in an old jar by the stove, used by the pinch, never measured.

Why a parcel and not just a letter?
Because some things about Sicily can’t be written down. The scent of orange-blossom soap isn’t something a letter can carry. Neither is the taste of chocolate made the old Modica way.
A letter tells you about Sicily. A parcel lets you taste it, smell it, hold it, while you read.

Each month’s soap and chocolate will differ: a different scent, a different flavour, occasionally a different maker entirely. The same parcel arrives; what’s inside it never quite repeats.
Due to postal weight limits from Sicily, we keep every parcel close to 250g.
